About Treetops
Located within the grounds of Russells Hall Hospital, near Dudley, Treetops Private Day Nursery is a purpose built nursery which caters for 66 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
We hold 18 places for 0 – 2 years, 26 places for 2 -3 years and 22 places for 3 – 5 year olds in our Pre-School. We have full day sessions and half day sessions available.
We are conveniently located for the staff of Russells Hall Hospital and the surrounding areas of Dudley, Brierley Hill, Kingswinford & Stourbridge.

Aims and Objectives of Treetops:
Treetops Day Nursery aims to offer all children a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and develop through play. We aim to meet each child’s individual needs and offer support and encouragement to all. We have a large outdoor play area at the rear of the building and provide a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, for all children to be involved in on a daily basis. These activities enable them to develop to their full potential; physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
We follow the Birth to Five, Every Child Matters and Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
We are very proud to have received an Ofsted rating of "Good."
Meet the Treetops Staff
JANET & SHEILA
Hi, we’re Janet and Sheila the Proprietors and we can often be found in the office. We love to hear the laughter and happiness of all the children around the nursery – it always makes us smile.
EMMA
Hi, I’m Emma, the Manager here at Treetops. I have worked at the setting since the beginning – I even watched it being built! I love seeing the children’s happy smiling faces and hearing their laughter and watching them grow and develop, from babies in arms to little people ready for their next adventures in big school. It’s great to work with experienced practitioners who are dedicated in their roles. The relationships that are built in the setting are special to everyone, children, practitioners and parents. We are not just a nursery, we are a family!
CHARLOTTE
Hi, I’m Charlotte, the Deputy Manager at Treetops. I currently work in Pre-School and have worked with all ages in my 26+ years that I have been here. I love my role as Deputy Manager, forming special relationships with all practitioners, children and parents within the setting. I also enjoy my daily role in Pre-School, especially love singing, dancing and chatting to the children and hearing what they have been up to. Watching the children develop and grow each day makes me so proud to have been part of their journey and it is so emotional as they take their next step to Primary School.
LEANNE
Hi there, I’m Leanne. I am a level 3 qualified practitioner and have also been Deputy Manager for over 10 years. I have worked at this lovely nursery for over 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every step of that. Seeing the children grow through the years and coming back to visit is so rewarding and has been a pleasure to look after them all. I like to make each day different with activities, fun, laughter, joy, friendship, and new exciting experience for all. Children having fun and thriving is the most rewarding job to be part of.
LAURA
Hi, my name is Laura – I have been working at Treetops for over 2 years, I was previously a student for 2 years before this. I love working at Treetops watching the children grow and learn. I especially enjoy dancing and being creative.
HAYLEY
Hey, Hayley here. I love being part of the Treetops family as I have been here for 18+ years. I am a happy, jolly, caring person, which I feel reflects on the children’s day. I am open to all activities and like to have lots of fun.
STEPH
Hi, my name is Steph. I have worked for Treetops for over 15 years. I love singing, dancing and being creative with the children.
BRITT
Hi, it’s Britt – I have spent most of my time here as a child even being looked after by staff that are here today, and I am now working alongside them. I am a happy person and I love to make children smile and give them lots of cuddles.
BECKY B
Hey, I’m Becky, I have worked at Treetops for over 7 years and I am currently studying the Foundation Degree in Early Years at Uni to expand my knowledge further. I love to be creative with the children and provide a fun environment for them to learn.
KATH
Hi, I’m Kath. I have worked at Treetops for a number of years and am a fully qualified member of staff. I like to improve my knowledge and understanding by accessing any available courses which enable me to implement any new ideas into the setting.
ABBY
Hello, I’m Abby and I have worked at Treetops for over 10 years after completing my college placements here as student. I enjoy working with the babies because it’s lovely to see them develop and achieve all of their first milestones.
SHONAH
I have been working at Treetops for 8+ years and love that I am given the opportunity to have fun every day, playing and teaching your little ones. I love watching them grow into wonderful children.
BECKY H
My name is Becky – I have worked at Treetops for over 15 years. I have 3 children who have also attended the setting and have enjoyed their time here. I have worked with various ages – I enjoy the older children and listening to the funny things they say.
CAROL
Hello, my name is Carol – I have worked at Treetops for over 23 years. In that time I have watched so many children grow from babies and come back to do a placement, all grown up, which has been a joy to see. When the children shout my name or say hello, it’s the most wonderful feeling – in my mind I have the best job in the world.
AMY
I have been working at Treetops since 2012. I started as an apprentice and now have level 3 qualifications and also a qualification in understanding Autism. All 3 of my children have also attended Treetops.
LISA
Hey, I’m Lisa – I cook up a storm in the kitchen for all the children from babies to Pre-School. We provide a variety of yummy and nutritious meals and cater for all dietary requirements. Each week we try something different and delicious. From my kitchen I can hear all the children having fun and working up an appetite which makes me smile.
EDEN
Hi my name is Eden – I’ve been at Treetops since 2019 where I have studied for my level 3 qualification. I enjoy working with your children and love to put a smile on their face. I have gained experience with children of all ages in the setting.
LAURA
Hello – I’m Laura. I have been working in childcare for 3 years. I have a big passion for working with children. In my spare time I enjoy making memories with my family, and I love to dance.
EMMA
Hello – I am Emma. I have worked at Treetops for over a year now. I am currently doing my Early Years degree at University to broaden my knowledge. I love doing arts and crafts with the children and seeing them happy at nursery.

Hello – I am Jessica. I love working with children. I have been working at Treetops Day Nursery for 5 months.
MISTY
Hello – I’m Misty. I have been working as a nursery practitioner for 3 years now. I really enjoy reading stories, playing and joining in with the activities the children play with. I like to think that I come up with creative ways for the children to learn and explore new things.
CHLOE
Hi, my name is Chloe – I’ve been here for over 6 years and my son has attended too and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have worked in various rooms, watching the children develop and grow.
